Have you always dreamed of being able to draw and paint? Well, here's your chance, so go for it! Learn to draw and Paint in a fun, encouraging, coaching-style environment! New classes are starting soon!
Classes are $125 for four hour and a half sessions.(All supplies included for basic drawing.)

From traditional old tobacco barns to stately thoroughbred showbarns, kentucky's barns are front and center in February as we explore new ways of looking at these landmarks and how to make them come alive on canvas! Two projects are featured, students will be able to frame their renditions of these timeless classics. Call or email for supply list.

"Drawing The Human Form"
Several techniques will be utilized to achieve a working knowledge and an appreciation for the human form. User Friendly! There are several ways of approaching introductory figure drawings that do not have to be complicated and can even be considered      FUN!

Coming in March! Itroduction to drawing horses. Drawing horses can be fun. Learn to draw a horse from a horseman's point of view. This session will focus the beauty of horses' heads and how to capture expression in the horse's eyes. Supplies included.

April: Drawing the horse in motion. Beginning with gestural drawings of a horse in a standing pose to understand how horses move and capturing that in gesture drawing. Finally, create a horse in a landscape using values. Supplies included.

May: Let's Paint Horses!!
Horses in fields, imagined environments. Explore some techniques for mixing color to achieve effects of motion or stillness and how to capture light shining on glossy horse coats. Call or email for necessary supplies.
